Tenant insurance is not mandatory, but we highly suggest that you get coverage. Sometimes a tenant may be covered by their parents’ home insurance; however, if not, the tenant should get their own insurance. Without an individual policy, a tenant will not be covered for any loss, should something happen to the building or your individual apartment.
