Suite Features
AC and Heating
The AC and heating unit, located by the bed, is controlled by the white remote. To turn on the unit, press the On/OFF button. Pressing the MODE button will select options such as AC or Heat. Temperature can be increased and decreased by pressing the (-) or (+) buttons. You can adjust your fan speed (3) by pressing FAN until you reach the desired speed.
Convection Cooking
For convection cooking: (1) Press the Convect pad once; (2) Press the temperature key to select the temperature you need; (3) Press the Start/+30SEC. pad to start preheating. When the oven is preheated, it will signal. (4) Place the food in the oven and press the number keys to set cooking time; (5) Press Start/+30SEC. to start cooking. When the cooking is complete the oven will signal and turn off.
HD TV
In the event there is no picture, ensure the TV is powered on and set to HDMI 1 using the input button on the bottom of the TV. Ensure that your digital cable box (mounted behind the TV) is powered on. If you are still experiencing issues, please call our Virtual Front Desk.
Shower
The shower features an upper shower head and a hand-held wand. You can adjust the shower setting by looking at the imprints on the first of the two knobs. The bottom knob is used to turn on your water and to adjust the temperature. The panel above the dials controls the lighting in the shower, a fan, as well as music and volume. The phone function is not operational.
Induction CookTOP
To turn on the cooktop. press the power button. The top power button is for the upper burner and the bottom power button is for the lower burner. The arrow buttons will change the temperature. As a safety feature, the key button will lock the burner. To reset the cooktop, unplug it from the cupboard below and plug it back in.
Building Features
Housekeeping
Housekeeping is available daily. Just place the door hanger on your exterior door handle to indicate that you wish us to refresh your suite. We will not enter without this indication from our guests.
In an effort to reduce water usage, please let us know if you wish to have your towels replaced or bed linens refreshed by following the signs in your suite.
Non-Smoking
Smoking of any kind is prohibited, including on the balconies. If it is clear that smoking has taken place in a suite, a $250 charge will be levied to cover deep-cleaning expenses.
In accordance with local bylaws, all smoking must be a minimum of 3 meters away from the building.
Laundry & IRONS
The ground floor has a laundry room with coin-operated machines which accept loonies ($1), toonies ($2) and quarters ($.25). Each wash or dry is $2. You will also find irons and ironing boards in this location for your use.
